Roman Engelhardt, born in 1994, studied school music with a specialisation in instrumental pedagogy and music theory with Ralf Kubicek, Marcus Aydintan and Prof. Jörn Arnecke at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar. Since 2024, he has been teaching aural training and harmony in Weimar as a teacher for special tasks.

His music theory focus is on the empirical teaching of music theory in a school context: Roman Engelhardt is a member of the Gesellschaft für Musiktheorie (GMTH) and participates in the working group "Musikunterricht" in cooperation with the Bundesverband Musikunterricht (BMU).

Since 2021, he has also been publishing his own stylistic and non-stylistic compositions online: As a composer, his focus is on the conscious combination of traditional styles with the aim of finding his own forms of individual expression through musical synthesis.
