Make music possible
The Support association is an important institution that provides additional support and encouragement to young music students in artistic, educational, and academic fields at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT in Weimar.
Our members are citizens interested in culture, teachers, and alumni who want to accompany and support students. First and foremost, we see ourselves as “helpers in need.” Behind every student in need is a story that often moves us deeply. We seek personal contact and try to find out how we can be of assistance.
We help by:
- Awarding scholarships and grants (primarily in emergencies)
- Providing one-time financial support for living expenses in sudden emergencies
- Awarding interest-free or low-interest loans
- Providing proportional financial support for participation in courses, competitions, and study trips
- Covering rental fees for instruments and assisting with their purchase or repair
- Supporting student projects
- Co-financing excursions and concert trips
