Structure Working Group

The university is seeking to achieve a renewed and improved structure and organisation in teaching and administration. This should enable future-oriented studying and working, taking into account all current requirements for universities as well as the interests of all status groups.

A structural reform working group is currently working on this task. The targeted reorganisation for teaching and administration is characterised by

  • performance (e.g. through clear responsibilities and their acceptance, recognition of expertise, sharing of experience),
  • efficiency (e.g. through short application and decision-making paths, avoidance of duplication),
  • service orientation (e.g. through the principles of support, examination, facilitation),
  • transparency (e.g. through a clear overview and a good and regular flow of information)
  • Collaborative action (e.g. through interdisciplinary work, professional exchange)

The aim is to achieve a relief for students, teachers, researchers and administrative and technical staff in order to enable a strengthening of professional quality (e.g. by bundling areas of responsibility and structural units, optimising and accelerating processes, streamlining hierarchies).
