The 16-member vocal ensemble of the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar focuses on the performance of early music, music of the 20th century and contemporary music. The ensemble members' own compositions and improvisations are also part of the programme. For example, the ensemble members gave a workshop on vocal improvisation and their own compositions at ChorCom 2021 in Hannover. Participation in the vocal ensemble is open to students from all faculties after an audition. The prerequisites are a securely guided voice, very good intonation and sight-singing skills.
