The University of Music in Weimar has over 100 partner universities worldwide, with which exchanges of students and staff in teaching, administration and technology are possible.
Mobility abroad is financially supported by third-party funding programmes such as Erasmus+ and PROMOS. Every year, we welcome around 50 students and teachers to our university through international cooperation agreements.
University students can plan their own study abroad programme through semester exchanges during the mobility window, short stays during lecture-free periods or as part of a study trip during the semester, as well as through individually planned internships, which can even be funded by Erasmus+ for up to 12 months after graduation.
Teachers can make a significant contribution to strengthening university cooperation by taking up guest lectureships abroad and inspiring even more international students to study in Weimar.
In general, job shadowing with colleagues in similar fields at partner universities, staff training courses and language courses are interesting formats for further education and training for employees abroad.
Please contact the International Office at the university for advice on the respective activities and funding opportunities!
