Inclusion scouts
People are different, which manifests itself in a variety of lifestyles and ways of life. Recognising these differences forms the basis for respectful coexistence. This means that we oppose discrimination based on different world views, religions, physical, mental or psychological impairments, sexual orientation and gender identity, different origins or age-related disadvantages - and in favour of equal rights.
And this is not just an idea, it is enshrined in law through the General Equal Treatment Act, which provides for precisely this: To respect and protect people in their diversity!
There are also many people studying and working at the University of Music who have many different characteristics and different needs and who are not always given the attention they deserve in everyday university life. They want support but don't know who they can turn to: We want to change that with the HfM's inclusion scouts!
To be the first point of contact for support: This is exactly what they do. You will find the inclusion scouts in the various faculties and buildings as contact persons who can help you find offers of help and suitable support and who are interested in shaping our university community.
