The University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar offers various specialisations within the Teaching music degree programme:

• Teaching Qualification in Music at Grammar Schools, double major degree programme (Bachelor of Education): 6 semesters
• Teaching Qualification in Music at Grammar Schools, double major degree programme (Master of Education): 4 semesters
• Teaching Qualification in Music at Grammar Schools with a second subject to be studied at the University of Jena (two subjects degree): 10 semesters

The following applies to all degree courses:

all the instruments offered at the university, as well as Singing and School Piano Techniques, can be chosen as the major.
