Organ
The audition for the concert exam will consist of a two-step audition in the format of an open performance:
Length: 1st part: approx. 20 minutes | 2nd part: 50 to 60 minutes
International applicants, who are not willing or able to attend a live audition without a pre-audition selection, may submit a video or authenticated recording with their intended program to the audition committee. The applicant must submit information concerning the organ used. After evaluation by the audition committee, a notice will be sent to the applicant as to whether or not they are recommended to attend a live audition. Please note, this is not an advance acceptance, the applicant must attend a live audition in order to be accepted.
- work of the masters from the time of J. S. Bach
- A trio sonata and a representative free work by J. S. Bach
- A representative organ work from the 19th century
- A representative organ work from the 20th century
- Optional: Improvisation
