Master voice

Individual. Flexible. Artistically free.

In the Master's programme in singing, students shape their own profile.

The programme has a modular structure and opens up space for specialisation – whether in opera, oratorio, song interpretation or vocal pedagogy.

This allows each voice to find its own path.
Artistic maturity, personal signature. The focus is on developing an individual artistic identity – technically sound, stylistically versatile, personally distinctive.
One emphasis is on interpretative depth and the conscious connection between voice, language and scene.

Opera practice included.
Students take part in numerous productions, develop roles, create projects and work in teams with directors, accompanists and orchestras. Stage, teaching and independent work are organically intertwined.

Internationally networked. Weimar atmosphere.
Guest lecturers, exchange programmes and collaborations open up new perspectives – and the manageable size of the campus ensures a focused, inspiring working atmosphere.
A place where artistic freedom meets individual support.

Goal:
The Master's programme in singing enables students to work independently as artists – on the opera stage, in the concert hall or in teaching.
