American pianist Jeffrey Cohen has attracted international attention for the brilliance and artistry of his interpretations. Both as a soloist and chamber musician, his performances have taken him to three different continents, including the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Merkin Concert Hall, the Phillips Collection, the Mostly Music Series of Chicago, the National Arts Centre in Ottawa and the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing. During the summer months he has been a lecturer or guest artist at major music festivals such as Bowdoin, Orford, MusicAlp International Academy, Summer Academy Voksenåsen, Adamant Music School, Amalfi Coast, Puerto Piano and Strings, Seoul Summer Music Camp and Beijing International Music Festival. He has appeared on National Public Radio's "Performance Today", the CBC Radio Network, Radio Canada, Radio France and WQXR. In addition to his concert activities, Jeffrey Cohen has established himself as one of the leading piano teachers of his generation through his teaching activities. For over thirty years, Jeffrey Cohen has been a piano professor and member of the art faculty at the Manhattan School of Music, where he serves as coordinator of masterclasses and departmental competitions. Jeffrey Cohen has served as an adjudicator at numerous major national and international competitions. He is a past winner of the Beethoven Foundation and a winner of the Sherman-Clay Steinway Piano Competition.
