Samir Bouadjadja graduated with distinction from the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden, where he studied singing, vocal pedagogy and school music under Piotr Bednarski. He is currently receiving artistic guidance and vocal coaching from Gudrun Bär.

Even whilst still a student, the young tenor appeared as a guest performer at the Landesbühnen Sachsen, including in a musical theatre and dance production based on Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. He took part in the complete recording of the works of Heinrich Schütz under Hans-Christoph Rademann. Samir Bouadjadja received further artistic inspiration from Rudolf Piernay, Ludger Rémy and the Leipzig Kammersängerin Regina Werner-Dietrich, among others.

Samir Bouadjadja enjoys a particularly active collaboration with the Prague-based Collegium 1704 under the direction of Václav Luks. Musical highlights of the young tenor’s career to date include his concert debuts at the Chapelle Royale in the Palace of Versailles, at Dresden’s Frauenkirche and Kreuzkirche, with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra and at the Salzburg Festival, as well as at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig with the Cappuccino Salon Orchestra. Recordings have already been made for radio, television (Arte, 3sat and Mezzo) and on CD, most recently a world premiere recording of songs by the composer Friedrich Wilhelm Marpurg. Samir Bouadjadja took part in a CD production in collaboration between Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg and Deutschlandfunk with the Vocalconsort Berlin. In this production, he took on the role of Habemeajaja in Boris Blacher’s chamber opera of the same name. The 2025/2026 season holds numerous concert highlights in store for the young tenor, including works by composers such as Schubert, Mozart, Handel, Monteverdi and Mendelssohn.

Since the 2021/22 winter semester, Samir Bouadjadja has been teaching voice at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden and at the Saxon State Music School. At the latter, he has headed the vocal department since the 2024 summer term. He regularly serves as a judge for the Jugend musiziert competition. Since the 2025/26 winter term, Samir Bouadjadja has also been responsible for the lecture course Anatomy/Physiology of the Voice at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar.
