On 31 October, we celebrated our 9th alumni reunion of the University of Music FRANZ LISZT together with you. Around 150 alumni and guests made their way back to Weimar from all corners of Germany. The first joyful words of the surprising reunion could already be heard during registration at the Fürstenhaus.

University President Prof Anne-Kathrin Lindig welcomed the returnees, accompanied by very appealing artistic performances. Afterwards, this time in the premises of the central bank, there was time for an exchange of ideas and a cosy get-together as well as for making new contacts and friendships.

The highlight of the day was a visit to the final concert of the 11th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition Weimar-Bayreuth. Everyone was there live when the three finalists presented their piano concertos with the Weimar Staatskapelle and the jury chose a winner.

We were very happy that you were there and hope you had a good time at "your" Music University and in Weimar.
