- Born in Duisburg, grew up in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region; studied law at the University of Mannheim, state examination in law; in addition, selected musicological studies and internships (Universities of Heidelberg and Tübingen, Mannheim University of Music, Schola Cantorum Basiliensis); private organ studies
- Postgraduate studies and exams in cultural management at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre; project assistant to Prof. Dr Peter Ruzicka (Hamburg State Opera), Dr Peter Reidemeister (Basel) and in the music department of the Hamburg Senate Department for Culture; participation in the orchestra management pilot project at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts
- 1993-1998 Event manager, from 1995 deputy managing director at the Brandenburg Summer Concerts Festival in Berlin, where he worked on projects with Vladimir Ashkenazy, Riccardo Chailly, Peter Schreier, Igor Oistrach, Hellmuth Rilling and Frank Peter Zimmermann, among others
- 1998-1999 Head of Events, Press and Public Relations at the State University of Music Trossingen
- 2000-2023 Managing Director of the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim, projects there with Nigel Kennedy, Andrea Bocelli, Sergei Krylov, Cyprien Katsaris and Lars Vogt, among others, but also with top young conductors; numerous guest performances (Berlin, Cologne and Munich Philharmonics, Musikverein Vienna, Rudolfinum Prague, Sala Verdi Milan, Tonhalle Zurich and others), family concerts, crossover projects, CD productions and corporate collaborations
