Peter Frank, born in Hanover in 1963, studied at the Hanover University of Music and Drama, graduating with degrees in school music, voice teaching and opera. In 1989 he was a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association. From 1988 he sang numerous opera, operetta and musical roles as a lyric baritone at the Oldenburg State Theater, the Lower Saxony State Theater in Hanover, the TfN Hildesheim, the Volkstheater Bautzen, and the Brandenburg Theater, where he was also a permanent ensemble member from 1993 to 1999.

His repertoire included Count Almaviva (The Marriage of Figaro), Don Alfonso (Cosi fan tutte), Figaro, Dr. Bartolo (Barber of Seville), Papageno (The Magic Flute), Peter (Hansel and Gretel), Silvio (The Bajazzo) and many others. As a concert singer he toured Europe and the USA with song programs and oratorios and participated in radio and CD productions under P.Herreweghe, G.Leonhard, S.Preston, G.A. Albrecht, H.Hennig (EMI-Classics, THOROFON, Teldec), among others. He is the composer of the musicals "Der Graf von Gleichen" (2006) and "Jesus- ganzz.nah.dran" (2013).

His vocal pedagogical activities led him to the conservatories of music in Hannover (1995-2004), Würzburg (since 2004) and Weimar (since 2019). He is a certified functional voice coach (Certified Rabine Teacher 2000 - 2003) and a certified practitioner in the Talmi Method® by Prof. Martin Gruber (2018-2020). He is a member of the Association of German Voice Teachers (BDG) since 2001.
