Music theatre/scene

Scenic music theatre productions are an integral part of the Department of Voice | Music Theatre. From the first semester onwards, singing as a major subject, part and song studies and staged theatre lessons are intertwined. Students develop the intuition and knowledge to grasp the content of musical and musico-dramatic material. One focus of the semester's work is the preparation and performance of music-dramatic works in the university's studio theatre and in cooperation with theatres and orchestras in Thuringia.
