Study information:

A Master’s programme comprising 120 ECTS credits, which broadens and deepens students’ individual skills, qualifies them for a career as a professional musician with a wide range of opportunities in a broad and diverse professional field (in the areas of artistic practice, education or artistic research), whether working on a freelance basis or in a salaried role, Study can commence in either the winter or summer semester

Standard period of study:

4 Semester

Content:

A major in the arts, supplemented where applicable by compulsory modules related to the major in a core area, with the option to tailor the programme to individual interests by selecting relevant compulsory-elective modules in the specialisation area

Prerequisite:

First subject-specific university degree qualifying for professional practice, passed aptitude test, proof of language level B2 (for international applicants)

Application period:

Applications will be accepted for the first time for the summer semester 2026!

February 15 – March 15 for the winter semester
October 1 – October 31 for the summer semester

The aptitude test consists of several sub-tests, which are taken in person as a group test.
