  • Born in 1970 in Linköping, Sweden
  • Began taking percussion lesson at the age of 9
  • 1986-1991 Studies at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm
  • 1990 Percussionist for the Royal Court Orchestra, Stockholm
  • 1991-1992 Solo timpanist for the Danish Radio Orchestra, Copenhagen
  • 1993-2008 Solo timpanist for the Royal Opera and Royal Court Orchestra, Stockholm
  • 1. Prize, Swedish Soloist Prize; 2. Prize at the Nordic Soloist Competition / Reykjavík; 1. Prize at the EBU / IFYP in Bratislava; 2. Prize at the ARD-Competition
  • 1996-1997 Artist-in-Residence for the Swedish Radio
  • Concerts as a soloist with numerous orchestras in many parts of Europe and Asia
  • Regular work with contemporary composers
  • Master classes in Germany and abroad
  • Since 2008, Professor of Percussion at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
