The Bibliographie des Musikschrifttums online is an international, interactive and freely usable bibliography for musicology. It serves as a continuation of the work printed until the reporting year 1988.
The BMS takes into account books, essays and reviews from magazines, commemorations, congress reports, yearbooks, anthologies and critical reports of musical editions. The BMS editorial team evaluates national bibliographies, specialist journals and special bibliographies. Numerous titles are provided with a short summary.
