    Collegium Musicum Weimar

The interdisciplinary orchestra is made up primarily of students from all fields of study at Faculty III of the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar and is open to young music-loving instrumentalists from the Bauhaus University Weimar and the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. About 50 members work out a demanding symphonic concert program once a semester in weekly rehearsals under the direction of a student from the conducting class of Prof. Nicolás Pasquet and Prof. Ekhart Wycik. The orchestra organizes itself to a large extent, so that in addition to the musical experience, future school musicians, arts managers and musicologists can also gain experience in public relations and the travel and concert organization of a large ensemble.

    Principal conductor
    P. Mauricio Sotelo-Romero
