A temporary solution for the damaged boiler is now in operation
That was quick: yesterday evening, a temporary solution for the damaged boiler in the Fürstenhaus was put into operation. It will take a while for a new boiler to be delivered, but fortunately, the Fürstenhaus and the administration building will remain warm in the meantime.
University Chancellor Maren Brechtefeld is delighted, as are all students, teachers, and staff: “Thanks to their incredible dedication and the cooperation of the city, our colleagues in building management have already managed to restore the heat supply to the Fürstenhaus and the Rössler'sche Haus today.”
On Wednesday morning, the central boiler in the Fürstenhaus broke down and proved to be beyond repair.
