Anne-Kathrin Wegele

Anne-Kathrin Wegele studied school music with a focus on flute and singing at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar and completed her studies in 2022 with a Master of Education. She then studied vocal pedagogy at the University of Music in Leipzig, where she obtained a Master of Music in 2024.

During her studies, she taught singing at private music schools in Thuringia and children's voice training at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig. One focus of her freelance work as a singing teacher is on voice training with trans* people.

Since 2024, Anne-Kathrin Wegele has been working as a research assistant at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT in Weimar and is pursuing her doctoral project, which is a contribution to the vocal work of and with trans* people.
