- 1978 to 1984: Degree from the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar, majoring in piano, under Professor Volkmar Lehmann, additional special subjects were chamber music and improvisation
- Masterclasses under Professor Peter Solymos and Professor Bernard Ringeissen
- 1984 to present: Teaching position at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
- Concerts as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Spain and the US
- Teaches courses and gives lessons at music schools
- Involvement in school competitions, both as a jury member and tutor for prize-winners (the ‘Jugend musiziert’ competition etc.)
