Thoska card

The so called thoska (Thüringer Hochschul- und Studentenwerkskarte) combines a number of functions, and is an essential part of everyday life. It acts as:

• Service card
• Payment card in canteens, cafeterias and for chargeable courses at the University Sports Centre (USZ)
• Copy card
• Semester ticket / travel pass for Weimar public transport and for railway lines within Thuringia (RE  and RB only)
• Library user card
• Access authorisation card for unlocked buildings and rooms
