- Born in 1963 in Schwerin
- First piano lessons at the age of nine
- From 1975 to 1980 pupil at a music school, subsequently studies at the Academy of Music 'Carl Maria von Weber' in Dresden with Frau Prof. Eva Ander
- Solo final recital examination with the Orchestra of the Dresden Music Academy in the Gewandhaus in Leipzig (Piano Concerto in G Major by Maurice Ravel), in the same year solo debut with the Dresden Philharmonic
- Further artistic studies with Professor Peter Rösel und Professor Rolf-Dieter Arens (BRD)
- Participation in master classes with the Professors Jürgen Uhde (BRD), Bernard Ringeissen (France) and William Kinderman (Canada)
- Numerous concerts with orchestras as a soloist and chamber musician during her studies
- Accompanist for the master class with Prof. Gerhard Mantel (Cello) during the International Music Seminars in Weimar
- Concerts and competitions in Spain, Yugoslavia, Poland, Russia and in the Czech Republic
- Initiator of the 1st SCHUBERTIADE WEIMAR

- Since 1987 assistant for piano at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
- In 1992 awarded the title of Professor of Cello Coaching and Song Accompaniment at the LISZT University
