  • Born in 1969 in Stralsund
  • First cello lessons with Hans-Joachim Voß
  • From 1984 until 1992 studies under Prof. Brunhard Böhme intially at the Spezialschule für Musik Belvedere in Weimar, followed by studies at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
  • Graduate recital (Konzertexamen) in 1996 under Prof. Bernhard Gmelin in Hamburg
  • Success in competitions and concerts mostly with the "Liszt-Trio Weimar" (founded in 1990) at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Rheingau-Musikfest and the Beethovenfest Bonn and many more
  • Orchestral concerts with the Deutsches Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Dresdener Philharmonie and the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra among others
  • Diverse compact disc recordings (i.e. recordings Franz Liszt, Vallé d'Obermann; Mauricio Kagel, Second Piano Trio) and radio broadcasts (NDR Hamburg, Hannover, Deutschlandradio, Hungarian Radio)
  • Ongoing cooperation with Mauricio Kagel (first recording of his Second Piano Trio, premiere of his Third Piano Trio at the Beethovenfest Bonn)
  • Cooperation with Thomas Brandis and Igor Oistrach as a chamber musician
  • Professor at the German School of Music Weimar at the Kangnam-University in Yongin / South Korea from 2005 to 2007
  • Professor at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar since 2007
