Professor of Artistic Song Interpretation
- Born in 1960 in Salzburg
- Studies in school music and piano at the Music Academy in Graz, studies in song interpretation at the Music Academy in Stuttgart (with Konrad Richter)
- Regular work as a song accompanist, as well as for chamber music and piano duos
- 30 radio and television recordings both in Germany and abroad and 40 CDs with the label "Music-Partner"
- Successful participant in various competitions: Hugo-Wolf Song Competition (Stuttgart 1987), Competition for Song Accompanists (The Hague 1988) and the Hans-Pfitzner Song Competition (Hamburg 1989), together with his wife Bettina Möllenkamp (Piano Duo)
- Prize winner of chamber music competitions: Finale Ligure 1991 and 1992, the ARD-Competition in Munich 1992 (in the top five duos)
- Teaching posts in various music academies (as vocal coach in Graz and Stuttgart, song interpretation in Karlsruhe and Heidelberg-Mannheim)
- 1993 Professor in both subjects at the Music Academy "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig
- Since 2004 Professor of Artistic song interpretation at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
