- 1975-81 Violin studies at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar under Prof. Fritz Ehlers and Prof. Jörg Hofmann

- Member of the university's chamber orchestra
- Part-time teaching post for violin and orchestral studies at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar on completion of studies
- 1981 Member of the National Orchestra Weimar, at first acting concertmaster, since 1988 first concertmaster
- 1981 Foundation of the "Dehler-Quartet"
- Participation in many radio and television productions as well as premieres of new works
- Guest tours in France, Luxemburg, the Czech Republic and in the USA
- Projects with Prof. Walter Jens in 1999 in Weimar (City of culture, Europe)
- Soloist with many orchestras including the National Orchestra Weimar and the Jena and Gera Philharmonic Orchestras
- Leader of philharmonic chamber concerts as "Primaria"
- Sought after concertmaster in many German orchestras
- Since 2001 "Primaria" of the Thuringian Chamber Orchestra
- 2002 awarded the title of Honorary Professor the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
