As Chancellor of the Weimar University of Music, Christine Gurk is the guardian of finances. When she came to the HfM, numbers played a bigger role in her life than music. That quickly changed when she attended the first concerts by Weimar students.
In the podcast, Christine Gurk talks about the challenges the university has faced in the course of her 20 or so years of work and about those that still await us. Presenter Christofer Hameister studied school music at the University of Music in Weimar and completed his journalistic traineeship at Antenne Thüringen in Weimar. Since 2019, he has been presenting various radio and television programs for Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb).
