Information about Brexit

With its withdrawal from the European Union, the United Kingdom (UK) is also withdrawing from the Erasmus+ program. The Brexit has no impact on the current program generation. This means that stays abroad in the United Kingdom can continue to be funded and carried out until March 31, 2023.

From 01 October 2021, entry for EU citizens is only possible with a valid, machine-readable passport.

Please also note the new visa regulations from January 1, 2021:

You do not need a visa for stays (student mobility) of up to 6 months. If you wish to stay in the UK for longer than 6 months, you must apply for an appropriate visa.

The situation is different for staff mobility: No visa is required for stays of up to one month. For stays longer than one month, you must apply for a visa.
