  • From 1984 to 1994 pupil of Professor Jost Witter
  • Under and post-graduate at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
  • Master classes with Wolfgang Marschner, Igor Ozim, Ruggiero Ricci, Boris Kuschnir, Thomas Brandis and Eberhard Feltz
  • From 1993 to 1996 further studies in orchestral and choral conducting
  • In 1994 artistic assistant for violin at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
  • From 2000 to 2002 teacher of violin at the Music Academy in Kassel and the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
  • 2002 teacher of violin, methodology and chamber music in the Institute for Music at the Otto-von-Guericke-University in Magdeburg
  • Since 2006 Professor of Violin at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
  • Concert tours both in Germany and abroad with the "Liszt-Trio Weimar"
  • 1997 1st Ensemble-Prize of the Allianz Foundation in the international competition "Junge Elite" at the Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
  • Collaboration between the "Liszt-Trio Weimar" and the composer Mauricio Kagel – first performance in Germany and first radio production (NDR) as well as CD production of the 2 piano trios from Kagel (composed 2001), first performance of his 3rd piano trio at Beethovenfest 2007, Bonn
  • Leader of the LISZT University Chamber Orchestra as well as the Leipzig chamber Orchestra, the Central German Chamber Orchestra and the Spohr-Kammerorchester Kassel
  • Jury member in various competitions
  • Master classes in violin and chamber music in Germany and South Korea
