  • 2008–2012, doctoral studies in musicology at the Universität Innsbruck; dissertation on the secular output of the Tyrolean composer Josef Gasser (1873–1957)
  • award-winning pianist at national and international competitions ('Prima la musica', 'Città di Stresa'); master classes with Klaus Hellwig, Rolf Plagge, Claudio Risaliti, and Milan Škampa; concert tours to Italy, Germany, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, England, and Brazil
  • 2009–2012, doctoral scholar with the 'Verein zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Ausbildung und Tätigkeit von Südtirolern an der Landesuniversität Innsbruck'; 2010, scholar with the 'Richard & Emmy Bahr-Stiftung' Schaffhausen; 2013, awarded publication grant by the commission for exceptional dissertations at the Universität Innsbruck
  • 2014–2018 academic assistant to Prof. Dr Christiane Wiesenfeldt at the Department for Musicology Weimar-Jena. Project "Italian Traces in the Musical Practices of the House of Wettin in the Sixteenth Century", supported by the DFG ('Eigene Stelle')
  • Since 2014 Lecturer at the Department for Musicology Weimar-Jena
  • Since 2018 academic assistant to Prof. Dr. Klaus Pietschmann at the Department of Art History and Musicology at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Project "Deutsche Musiker an oberitalienischen Höfen um 1600", supported by the Fritz Thyssen Stiftung für Wissenschaftsförderung ("Eigene Stelle")
  • Currently preparation of the habilitations-project "In Harmoniam Cantionum italogermanicarum. Italienische Musik als Referenz im mitteldeutschen Raum des 16. und beginnenden 17. Jahrhunderts"
  • Research interests: Music of the sixteenth and seventeenth century with focus on Italy, Thuringian music history, Tyrolean music history 1800–1950, piano music
