  • 1957: Born in Weimar
  • 1965 onwards: Had piano lessons at the Music School of Eisenach under Elisabeth König
  • 1969: Acceptance to the Belvedere Special School for Music and piano lessons under Fritz Bantz
  • 1975–1980: Piano diploma at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar under Fritz Bantz and Professor Gunda Koehler Scharlach
  • 1979: Tutorial assistant for piano methods
  • 1980: Appointed to the post of artistic assistant at the University of Music Weimar
  • Extensive concert schedule
  • 1986: Appointed to the position of ‘university teacher’
  • 1991 to present: Artistic employee at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
  • 1992–2011: Involved as a piano teacher at the Music Gymnasium ‘Schloss Belvedere’
  • 1993–1996: Artistic director of the ‘Women's Music Days’ at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar, and simultaneously  chairlady of the regional association of the ‘Women in Music’ international working group
  • Extensive research on the topic of female composers
  • 1998: Guest lecture on ‘Female Composers of Eastern Europe’ at the University of Gainesville, Florida, USA
  • 2001/02: Series of public lectures on female composers at the Frauenzentrum Weimar (Women’s Centre Weimar)
  • 2009: Publication of the book ‘Klavierspielen mit der Seele’ (‘Playing the Piano with the Soul’), written in 1999
