- Baroque violin (only following a diploma/B.Mus. in violin or viola)
- Choir conducting (not following a diploma/B.Mus. in this subject)
- Composition
- Electroacoustic music (not following a B.Mus. in Electroacoustic composition)
- Historical keyboard instruments (two or three instruments: harpsichord, clavichord, Early Music organ, Hammerclavier)
- Historical string instruments (two instruments: Baroque violin, Baroque viola, Baroque cello, Viola da gamba, Lirone, Violone)
- Orchestral conducting (not following a diploma/B.Mus. in the same subject)
- Voice (opera)

The University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar offers the following Master of Education degree (4 terms):
- Teaching at Grammar Schools ('Gymnasium'), double major in music (Master of Education)
All instrumental subjects offered by the institution, as well as voice and classroom piano-playing can be elected as core subjects.
