Short-term Student Associates
The University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar offers international students the opportunity of associate studentships of up to two semesters.
Eligibility Criteria
The studentship's central focus lies on the programme's core subject / the main performance option. Further courses such as chamber music, musicological lectures, minor options in piano, Lied performance, repertoire studies, etc. may be selected depending on the teaching capacities available. A teaching plan is determined at the beginning of the programme. Students of orchestral instruments are required to perform with the University's orchestra if requested to do so. In general, associate students do not obtain the right to be examined. Degrees cannot be obtained in this programme.

- enrolment at your home university during your associate studentship
- successful audition at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
