Ferenc Rados - Piano

(c) Maik Schuck

16 – 19 July 2022

Unfortunately, this course had to be cancelled.

There are no renowned hungarian pianists who have not enjoyed lessons with him. Ferenc Rados is a pedagogical legend, not only in his native Hungary, but far beyond. Many of his students, among them András Schiff and Zoltán Kocsis, later made international careers. Born in 1934, he studied at the Budapest Liszt Academy and the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Until 1985, Ferenc Rados performed worldwide as a soloist, chamber musician and guest of renowned orchestras. His work is documented on a large number of CD recordings for the Hungaroton label. Until his retirement in 1996, he taught as Professor of Piano and Chamber Music at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest. Ferenc Rados regularly gives master classes for pianists and chamber music ensembles all over the world.
