Beyond the beaten track is the French pianist Michael Wladkowski. He is not only an accomplished interpreter of the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven and Frédéric Chopin, but also pays special attention to the works of contemporary composers. His career encompasses a multitude of world premieres, including many new works that have been dedicated to him directly. And it is not only this unknown terrain that Wladkowski explores; he also likes to combine music with poetry in his recitals or he explains in special lecture recitals the relationships between classical and modern piano works. This pianist studied in the USA, Poland and Austria. He is fluent in English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Italian and Hebrew. For many years, Michael Wladkowski has been supervising a successful piano class at the École Normale de Musique de Paris. He regularly gives masterclasses throughout Europe, Israel, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan and Russia.
