- Studied piano at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar from 1980 to 1985 with Prof. V. Lehmann and Prof. Peter Waas
- Further studies in piano and song interpretation with Prof. Rolf-Dieter Arens, Prof. Ludwig Bätzel and Prof. Peter Waas
- From 1986 to 1993 assistant teacher of piano at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar
- In 1993 awarded the title of Professor of Piano
- In 1985 establishment of the Weimar Piano Duo with Prof. Bettina Bruhn
- Radio recordings, CD productions and concerts in Germany and abroad
