She was supported by the legendary Arthur Rubinstein: The pianist praised her once as a "born Chopin interpreter". In 2016, Janina Fialkowska celebrated her 65th birthday with a "Birthday Celebration Tour" that led her to Japan, Great Britain, Germany and Poland as well as Spain, Portugal and 30 concerts in her homeland Canada. Born in Montreal, Fialkowska studied under Yvonne Lefebure in Paris and Sacha Gorodnitzki at the Juilliard School in New York and has thrilled a worldwide public for over 40 years. She has performed with the world's most prominent orchestras under conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Bernard Haitink, Lorin Maazel, Sir Georg Solti, Sir Roger Norrington and Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Janina Fialkowska gladly passes on her knowledge at master classes.
