Johanna Koerrenz, born in Coburg in 1995, studied school music and music theory with Prof. Jörn Arnecke at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar. Since 2023, she has been teaching harmony and aural training there as a teacher for special tasks, as well as teaching at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music Dresden.
Her music theory focuses on mediation, digital music, popular music and transcultural music theory. She mainly composes for choir and is active as a glass musician with the Verrophon in opera and chamber music.
