  • From 1974 to 1983 violin lessons at the Musikschule Berlin-Mitte with Jürgen Lampe
  • From 1983 to 1989 studies at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar under professors Jörg Hofmann and Friedemann Bätzel
  • Concerts primarily as chamber musician (piano trio more than anything else), but also as a soloist with various orchestras (works of Bach, Haydn, Vivaldi, Brahms, Bruch and others)
  • Since 1989 Professor of Violin, later also of Didactics at the LISZT UNIVERSITY in Weimar
  • 1996 – 2002 provided support in Didactics in Mainz at the Peter-Cornelius-Konservatorium and Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität
  • Also worked in  music schools for children since 1994 (Musikschule "Ottmar Gerster" Weimar and Peter-Cornelius-Konservatorium Mainz): beginners, intermediate, classes for string players and preparation for studies
  • 1999 and following years founding and direction of the Mainzer Musikpädagogischen Seminare
  • Active lecturer Landesmusikakademien in Rheinland-Pfalz and Thuringia, Crescendo Summer Institute of the Arts in Sarospatak / Hungary, Mainzer Musikpädagogische Seminare and others)
  • Active in the area of student competitions as juror as well as teacher of various winners (national competition "Jugend Musiziert", Hamburger Instrumentalwettbewerb, Peter-Cornelius-Wettbewerb Mainz, Carl-Schroeder-Wettbewerb Sondershausen and many others)
