- 1st Prize 10 000 Euros
- 2nd Prize 6 000 Euros

Special Prizes
a) Special prize in the amount of 1000 Euros for the best interpretation of a Franz Liszt composition, sponsored by the Deutsche Lisztgesellschaft.
b) For the best interpretation of a Joseph Haydn piano sonata: A piano evening in the Streingraeber Rokokosaal during the Bayreuth Festival with a concert fee of 1000 Euros, sponsored by the piano manufacturer Steingraeber & Söhne. The concert instrument will be the Liszt grand piano of Eduard Steingraeber.
c) Scholarship for the best Eastern European participant (prize winners excluded) for one semester at The LISZT School of Music Weimar. This prize is sponsored by Dr. Rainer Braunschweig (Munich).
d) Audience award to the amount of 1000 Euros, sponsored by Klavierhaus Michael Fiech.
