Formed 1998 in Warschau, the Quarrel Quartet consists of students of music academies in Berlin, Hannover and Frankfurt am Main. The group has been studying with Professor Hatto Beyerle since 2004 and has been a member of the European Chamber Music Academy since 2005. The quartet is presently taking part in the chamber music classes of the Artemis Quartet at the UdK Berlin and has attended master classes with members of the Amadeus Quartet, Ysaye Quartet and the Tokyo Quartet. The Quarrel Quartet is the first prize winner of the National Bacewicz Chamber Music Competition in Lodz (1999), in Heerlen (2001) and of the International Max Reger Competition in Sondershausen (2002). They have performed in many European countries, as well as the USA and Japan and were invited to festivals in Warsaw, New York and Sapporo. Since 2007 the quartet has 2 new members - Anna Szulc-Kapala and Eun-Young Park.

The Leibniz Trio was founded in 2005 by three students of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover. Hwa-Won Pyun (Violin), Lena Wignjosaputro (Violoncello) and Nicholas Rimmer (Piano) were influenced and inspired by Prof. Ulf Schneider (Trio Jean Paul) and Prof. Hatto Beyerle. In 2006, the trio won first prize at the Johannes Brahms Competition in Pörtschach and in 2007 the third prize at the Third International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition. The trio is sponsored by the Friedrich-Jürgen-Sellheim-Stiftung and Yehudi Menuhins Live Music Now! The trio has already played in Germany, Holland, Italy and Great Britain.

The Matangi Quartett was founded in 1999 in the Netherlands. The members Maria-Paula Majoor (1st Violin), Daniel Torrico Menacho (2nd Violin), Karsten Kleijer (Viola) and Arno van der Vuurst (Violoncello) studied at the Dutch String Quartet Academy. They made a name for themselves with projects across stylistic lines: the played with the rock singer Frédérique Spigt and recorded a CD with Hermann van Veen. When it comes to serious music, the quartet is equally at home: it puts on a concert series in Amsterdam, has three CDs already and is regularly a guest at many well known European music festivals.
