Prof. Claudia Buder | Accordion
- Was born in Leipzig and began instrumental lessons at the age of eight
- Studied with Prof. Ivan Koval in Weimar and with Prof. Mie Miki at the Folkwang Academy of Music in Essen
- In 1994 she completed her studies and graduated with two undergraduate degrees and a postgraduate
- Has won prizes in various national and international competitions including the 1st Prize in the III Competition for Interpretation of 20th Century Music
- Since 1995 she has taught at The LISZT SCHOOL of Music Weimar. Her pupils at the Music High School Schloss Belvedere have won 20 first prizes in the competition "Jugend musiziert" up-to-date
- From 2001 to 2002 she was a guest teacher at the College Turku in Finland
- Gives annual master classes where she passes on her experience to others
- She regularly manages the publication of new compositions for the publisher AUGEMUS
- In 1988 solo debut with the Erfurt Philharmonic
- Recordings in various chamber group combinations with Academy Label, Animato, Bella Musica and Kreuzberg Records
- Engagements with larger ensembles such as the Ensemble Modern, Musikfabrik NRW and the Leipzig Sinfonietta have led her throughout Germany and abroad
- She has worked closely with many composers such as Sidney Corbett, Conrado del Rosario and Georg Katzer and has played many premieres of new compositions
