Prof. Robin Minard | Electro-acoustic Composition
- Born in Montreal in 1953
- Studied composition and electro-acoustic music in Canada and Paris
- Has concentrated his work on electro-acoustic composition and sound installations in public since the early 80s
- Worked as a guest for the Berlin Artists Program (DAAD) in 1990
- From 1992 to 1996 teaching contract in the electronic studio of the TU Berlin
- In 1995 guest composer and teacher at the Institute of Electronic Music in Graz
- Received numerous international awards, gave concerts and took part in numerous exhibitions
- Since 1990 living in Berlin
- Since 1997 Professor of Electro-Acoustic Composition and Sound Production at the LISZT SCHOOL of Music and the Bauhaus University in Weimar and head of the Studio for Electro-Acoustic Music (SeaM)
- Publications referring to the theme electro-acoustic sound installation, including the book "Silent Music –between the art of sound and acoustic design" (Kehrer Publications, Heidelberg 1999)
