  • First violin lessons at the age of 11 with Klaus Wätzig
  • 1972-75 Pupil at the Music High School Belvedere
  • 1975-81 Violin studies at The LISZT SCHOOL of Music Weimar under Prof. Fritz Ehlers and Prof. Jörg Hofmann
  • Participation in many international competitions
  • Member of the school’s chamber orchestra
  • Part-time teaching post for violin and orchestral studies at The LISZT SCHOOL of Music Weimar on completion of studies
  • 1981 Member of the National Orchestra Weimar, at first acting concertmaster, since 1988 first concertmaster
  • 1981 Foundation of the "Dehler-Quartet"
  • Participation in many radio and television productions as well as premieres of new works
  • Guest tours in France, Luxemburg, the Czech Republic and in the USA
  • Projects with Prof. Walter Jens in 1999 in Weimar (City of culture, Europe)
  • Soloist with many orchestras including the National Orchestra Weimar and the Jena and Gera Philharmonic Orchestras
  • Leader of philharmonic chamber concerts as "Primaria"
  • Sought after concertmaster in many German orchestras
  • Since 2001 "Primaria" of the Thuringian Chamber Orchestra
  • 2002 awarded the title of Honorary Professor The LISZT SCHOOL of Music Weimar
